So... Another hard AOM session yesterday, quite fun, but am started to get a bit bored of it... Looking forward to playing Aeshma from SuperCheats one of these days!

Well finally got AOE III! Hmmm.... I prefer Age of Mythology Titans... And that is the game I am still playing online...

... OK I'm not exactly great at it, but it's is good enough fun!

Still gotta love what they are doing over at Super Cheats the forums are really cool for an independent games site.

Sure they are not as busy as IGN or GameFaqs but at least your posts won't get lost after two minutes! And SC is just busy enough for you to get a reply :)

Forward Look: Age of Empires III

It's not long now until Age of Empires III appears in the shop, personally I reserved mine ages ago at Amazon, so I'm looking forward to getting stuck into that a day or two after the official release.

However, playing through the demo did leave me feeling a little disappointed. You see, in my opinion at the moment it doesn't really touch Age of Mythology The Titans, which I think is the best game in it's genre. I suppose Í'll just have to wait until the full version comes out to deliver my final verdict!

Weekend Update: Lan Party

Well, managed to hook up with a few friends this weekend for a Halo 2 fun fest Lan Party. We are warming up for the upcoming tournaments on IGN which is basically a two day gaming event down in Anaheim.

Quake IV

Only three days to go before Quake 4 is officially out. The demo rocked, so hopefully the full version will live up to my high expectations :)

Here is my one gripe with their promotional website for the game though... OK the game is for a more mature audiecne so you obviously need to be over a certain age to view it... It's just that it is soooooo easy to get around by simply entering an old year of birth... Hmmppph, websites should try harder if they want to be serious about locking out underage people from their sites.

In gaming a newb is a new player of a game, whereas a noob is generally an annying person - a bit of an insult really!
